Approximately, 2 million Indians are currently witnessing heart attacks a year, and a majority of the victims of youngsters.

The heart is an essential part of our body’s survival. It is also a complex organ whose smooth functioning. Experts in this field say that decreasing the quality of food and consumption of harmful nutrients are the main cause of heart problems. High Blood Pressure – The blood pressure frequently changes according to the rate at which our heart relaxes and expands while pumping the blood. High blood pressure is a kind of cardiac condition. In this state, the blood flows through the blood vessels at a faster rate which leads to increased pressure in the arteries. If this condition continues for a long period, then it might damage the arteries and increase the risk of a heart attack. It may be damaged organs like the brain, eyes, and kidneys. The main causes of high blood pressure are lifestyle changes such as more consumption of salt, alcohol, lack of physical activities, and being overweight.

High Cholesterol – Cholesterol is nothing but a type of fat that circulates in the blood. If we want them to work properly so, we should maintain a healthy level of cholesterol in the body. If we will not maintain our cholesterol level so, it increases the risk of a heart attack.

Cardiomyopathy – can be defined as a condition that affects the myocardium, where the myocardium can get stretched, thickened, or become stiff. This will lead to a heart attack.

Heart Failure – The main function of the heart is to pump blood, supply oxygen and necessary nutrients to the different parts of the body. When the heart fails to pump enough blood to meet the requirement of the body, the condition of heart failure arises. Heart failure is not something that occurs suddenly.

Prevention of Heart Diseases

Prevention is better than cure. The best way to control heart diseases is to take necessary measures and need some changes in our lifestyle such as exercising regularly, avoiding trans-fat or bad cholesterol, reducing the intake of salt, sugar, and saturated fats in food.
